If you haven’t tried it before, self catering is great way to explore a new area
or country. There is no time limit on when you can eat and there is no set time you
have to get up for breakfast. If you like a long lie in or want to be out to catch
the sunrise there is no need to miss out on anything. This type of self contained
holiday gives you total flexibility to eat out or in as you choose.
An additional pleasure, particularly in France, is exploring the local markets for
fresh produce to take back and prepare and consume in your accommodation. A short
trip to the village in the morning for your fresh croissant and baguette, or time
spent touring the local super market to stock up for your stay, the choice is yours.
We have designed our self catering accommodation for two people. The buildings provide
a large amount of space to relax, if you want to spend some time indoors, particularly
after a long journey. Rather than having a small kitchen, living room, dining room
etc we have created a huge open plan area which provides all those facilities but
space to spread out and feel comfortable in which ever way you choose to use it.
We
have provided an extensive range of cooking utensils, pots and pans etc to ensure
that food preparation is as easy as possible.
This is peaceful location and you have the opportunity to sit outside with a coffee
or glass of wine when you want to and appreciate the views over the top of orchards
and fields to the river valley beyond.
We live on site so you can get on with things yourself or pop around to ask for advice
or help in the unlikely event that something goes wrong. We have a large range of
local information in our accommodation but also like to find out for ourselves so
we can share our knowledge with guests.
