General Gîte Details

Each Gîte is part of a converted stone farm building, they are generously spacious, comfortable and newly furnished in a relaxed, fresh, country style. They are designed to help make your holiday in Brittany relaxing.

Each Gîte has its own small, terrace garden overlooking a wooded valley within a short walk down a country track to the River Douffine. Situated in Central Finistère, Penlan Gîtes will give you easy access to this beautiful region. Your french holiday begins here.

Open-plan, very spacious (both 60m2/645sq ft each); single storey accommodation in a converted stone barn. Inside, the white ceilings and walls, windows all round and glazed front door make the whole space exceptionally light and airy.

Both Gites have electric heating which can be supplemented by the wood burner make it extra cosy.

Where possible the original features have been retained and preserved.

Like the rest of the accommodation, the separate shower room with the extra large shower cubicle is generously proportioned with plenty of natural light.

All fittings, fixtures and the wood burning fires were brand new for the 2011 season.

Brittany is a perfect location and self catering gives you the option of dining out or eating in, to give you the best value and greatest choice.

At the end of your day's travelling or sight-seeing, it is important to return to comfortable and spotlessly clean accommodation which, makes you feel relaxed and 'at home'. Our Gites are tastefully converted Breton farm buildings and the country location is perfect in which to unwind. Easy access to the main routes and locations but far enough into the country to feel you are away from it all.
